Lámparas lineales LED
What is linear lighting and what are its characteristics?
Linear lighting refers to elongated, minimalist luminaires whose straight or curved lines complement any décor and distribute light evenly. These linear light fixtures can be decorative, adding an aesthetic touch, while others have integrated spotlights that can be directed to highlight specific areas.
In both linear ceiling and wall lights, we find some designs characterised by their ability to cover the entire space, either by crossing the ceiling from one end to the other or by climbing the wall. Examples of this are the Line lamps by Beneito & Faure or Tensor LED Cob Elegance by Nexia.
They are very suitable for a variety of spaces such as offices, homes, commercial spaces, or hotels due to their versatility and adaptable appearance. Linear suspension lighting is particularly effective for providing both direct and indirect lighting when installed on ceilings or walls. Linear kitchen island lighting is a popular application, offering efficient and focused illumination for workspaces.
These fixtures can also be installed in a trimless manner, blending seamlessly into ceilings or walls for a clean and modern look. Their energy efficiency makes them highly attractive, as they consume less energy than traditional lights and have a long lifespan, often exceeding 50,000 hours of operation, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
Another great advantage is that they are available in different colour temperatures, from warm light (2700K) to cool light (6500K); some are also dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light intensity according to the time of day or activity.
