Table Lamps
Table lamps are very functional pieces, as they can be used in various ways: to light up reading corners, desks, or bedside tables; to provide accent lighting that enhances the atmosphere and warmth; or to highlight specific objects. There are different types, ranging from modern table lamps with minimalist lines to more classic designs with an elegant touch. The design options are varied, featuring bases made of ceramic, wood, or metal, and shades made from fabric or glass. Many also offer adjustable features to direct light where it's most needed. Desk lamps are perfect for improving concentration, while the more decorative ones become the focal point in any room. At LightingSpain, choosing a table lamp is easy, thanks to the wide range of models that perfectly complement different styles of décor, making them the ideal accessory to personalise any space.

How to choose a table lamp?
When choosing a table lamp, it is important to consider more than just the design. First, think about its intended function. If it is for reading or working, opt for a lamp with directional light and sufficient brightness. For tasks that require focus, bulbs with a colour temperature of 4000K to 5000K (cool white light) are ideal as they provide clarity and help concentration. For a cosier atmosphere or to add ambient lighting, bulbs between 2700K and 3000K (warm light) are recommended. Also, assess the size of the lamp in relation to the table and surrounding space; a lamp that is too large or too small may disrupt the balance, especially on a nightstand. The type of lampshade also influences light distribution: opaque shades direct light downwards, while translucent shades offer more diffuse illumination. Glass shades, in particular, provide bright, even light, perfect for illuminating an entire room. Ensure that the lamp’s style, materials, and bulb type (preferably LED) match the décor, without compromising on functionality.
