POD is a vertically elongated elliptical light orbit, whose body is composed of a repeated series of strips of wood veneer. Unlike POPPY, a small space between each strip of POD veneer allows barely a glimpse of its interior light. POD is a modern and stylish luminaire, with an attractive shape that smiles and illuminates its surroundings with an altruistic and fresh sense. It is a pendant that works well on its own or as part of a combination of several POD and POPPY lamps. Designed by Burkhard Dämmer for the Spanish manufacturer LZF, POD is available in a medium size of 61 cm height x 53 cm diameter and in various colours: yellow, blue, ivory white, natural cherry, chocolate, grey, natural beech, orange, red, pink and turquoise. This luminaire does not include a bulb, the recommended light source is E27 CFL 1 x 20 W max.
