SWIRL is a new suspension ceiling lamp designed by Ray Power for LZF. With a studied and sculptural shape, SWIRL has an attractive profile from all angles. At once elegant and enigmatic, SWIRL catches the eye with its swirling swirls. The SWIRL pendant is handmade using strips of wood veneer made with its Timberlite technology, available in eleven attractive finishes: yellow, blue, ivory white, natural cherry, chocolate, grey, natural beech, orange, red, pink and turquoise. In SWIRL, the designer Ray Power has created a light where the colour inspires an essence of drama. In his mind, Ray imagines SWIRL with different wood veneer finishes and creates different expressions. In white, Ray visualises SWIRL as whipped cream, in red as a giant rose. In blue, he sees SWIRL as the darkest storm cloud and in turquoise, a crystal-clear sea. In orange, a raging fire and in yellow, pure happiness. Ray believes that SWIRL, in any colour, will act to illuminate the world we live in and inspire our imagination. Its dimensions are 54 x 54 x 25 cm (small version) and 75 x 75 x 35 cm (medium version). The recommended light source for Swirl is E27 Globe 1x23 W max (not included). The luminaire comes fully assembled.
