The Velasca TV unit, designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, stands out for its extendable system, which allows its total length to be adjusted between 220 and 274 cm. As a low and flexible piece of furniture, it is a fantastic option for the living room or media area, offering a wide surface for the television and decorative objects.

The entire piece is made of MDF board veneered in natural super-matte oak wood, a material used throughout the exterior and interior of the modules, as well as the tops, legs and plinths. Following the aesthetic language of the collection, the doors and side panels feature vertical slatted detailing in solid oak, giving the piece a three-dimensional relief and a very distinctive tactile texture.

The main module has handle-free hinged doors that open smoothly up to 105º thanks to concealed and invisible hinges. Inside, there is a fixed wooden shelf placed at mid-height in each compartment, ideal for organising remote controls, cables, books or small devices.

Its main strength is the extendable top, which allows the surface to slide in order to gain extra support space and create a lighter composition. This top rests on a lateral leg and includes embedded thermo-lacquered iron reinforcements both in the upper surface and in the plinths. To ensure complete safety and prevent the top from bending or warping under weight, it is only necessary to bear in mind that the minimum support distance of the top over the module must always be 54 cm. In addition, both the legs and the modules conceal adjustable feet so that the whole unit can be levelled perfectly, whatever the condition of the floor.
