La lámpara colgante "Parabólica", seleccionada para los premios ADI-FAD en 1973, fue diseñada por Joan Antoni Blanc con la intención de lograr una pantalla de lámpara con una geometría ideal para proyectar la luz de manera eficiente. La parábola es la forma más favorable para este propósito, siempre y cuando la fuente de luz interior esté ubicada correctamente; esta es una condición que obliga a crear un espacio superior para su incorporación. La fusión de estos dos conceptos configura la silueta de la "Parabólica".
