Maruja, an original self-assembly suspended light, has been designed by the young studio Gazpacho and is the first product in a kit from LZF. It is a contemporary lamp with a design that is both sober and decorative. As for the name Maruja, whose origins are in Galicia, it means both femininity and strength. Do-It-Yourself by author, Maruja is packed with all the necessary components to assemble the lamp: strips of wood veneer (in various sizes), a circular frame and pins. Maruja is easily constructed, without the need for tools or adhesives: just attach each strip of wood with a pin to the circular frame, insert a bulb and... you have created an elegant hand-made lamp! The strips of veneer hang and swing freely; when illuminated, Maruja shines full of life.
